Although there are some useful aspects to this library, much feels incomplete. The documentation is sadly lacking: e.g. the API function descriptions dont describe the function or parameters. There are many examples, but many have basic syntax errors (e.g. More Crud Table Formatting Options). Other examples dont actually exemplify, eg the JOIN example doesnt display a joined result. Im still not sure JOIN is actually supported. Oh and there doesnt seem to be support for ENUM fields either, so you are forced to copy and maintain ENUM values in two places. I cant see how to control column order without copying and maintaining column lists in two places. In many cases to get simple things accomplished I had to edit the PHP code or supplied CSS skins. That means an upgrade will wipe out my work. The author will tell you to go write CSS if you want to adjust the formatting, but there is no documentation of the CSS classes used. Youll have to reverse engineer it all. Ive seen the color of text change when making API calls, indicating CSS bugs. The price is low, but you get what you pay for. Beware.
